Martha Stewart talks about Etsy

Martha Stewart talked about Etsy today on her show. I had no idea the owner was so young! She also talked about frogs and toads, I loved the pond they had set up in the studio. I wish I could have that in my house! "Nymph" is new in my Etsy, she's got soft little pink flowers, ready for spring.

New Ebay

I have two auctions on ebay this week! The goddess is large, 49mm from top to bottom! The flowers are fun colors for spring!

My own little spot 'O' sunshine

I bought some daffodils and crocus in pots and the daffodils are blooming! New flowers in spring always cheer me up, these daffodils are frilly so they are very happy looking. This little button Trio is in the sale section of my Esty.

Where did the sun go?

It was sunny here for several days in a row, now it's overcast and dismal again. I'd rather have snow or sun. I am sick of rain and overcast!

New Etsy Team

I am excited about the Etsy teams that are popping up! I am a member of a of the Glass Haven Street Team. I'll also be joining another Team starting up. They are to help us all promote our Etsy sites, everyone working together to get our names out there!

I have put this disk set up in Etsy. Bling Baby, I love the gold fumed ivory!

New Etsy Beads

I have some new beads up in my Etsy. A fun daisy set in nice spring colors and a Relic focal beads I really do like!

Promoting Yourself

The blog topic this week on Flaming Hot is "how do you promote yourself"? I have several blogs I post on. Here obviously, one in my "I Love Etsy"site and on MySpace. There are several websites I post my work in and I have a email group I send updates on my ebay and Etsy listings. I try and promote myself locally as well. Last year I did our local farmers market on Sundays. I do a home show at Christmas time every year as awell as some Christmas shows. I am sure I could be doing alot more but it's hard to know where your time is best spent?

Weekend FUN!

I spent last weekend snow mobiling in Prince George! What fun! There was about 2-3 feet of snow, I got to learn how to go up hills and ride off trails! No pictures yet sorry!

Henna Disks

I just love the way these disks turned out! I am off for the weekend, snowmobiling! I'll try and get some good pictures to share.

Ebay This Week

I have three new ebay auctions up this week. A very "mixed bag" of auctions! The Jester beads were fun, bright beads that called to me one day when the sun came out! The Bling Baby! Disks are gold fumed, I LOVE fuming it gives glass a whole new dimension. A mini goddess added for good measure!

Dashing

Dashing another dark silver plum shard bead. I really enjoy playing with these and the lovely patinas you get from this glass.

Hushed

It's finally quiet! For now the storm seems to have passed. I named this bead after the nice peacefull lull we have in the winter weather. "Hushed" it's in my Etsy.

Disk Mode

I seem to be obsessed with disks.........again! I revisit them again often through the year it seems. Something about the shape I find very soothing to make. This set is in my Etsy.

Wind!!

Boy is it windy here! Our power has been out, and on, and out............I tried torching today but my muse got blown away!

These are on ebay this week. The goddess pendant / necklace is new for me on ebay. It's the first finsihed piece I've put up.

Buttons!!

I seem to be in a button phase right now! I love fiber and knitting, but can't seem to stick with a project for any length of time. My socks that I have been working on for months now are still only about 2 inches long! I think buttons help me feel connected to fiber, wool and knitting without the actual knitting!

Madame Dragonfly

Madame dragonfly is in my Etsy. I am quite thrilled with the silk ribbons I've found. Jamn Glass makes them, I think they really go well with my Goddess pendants. It's nice to use natural fibers and handcrafted products when you can!
