As promised here are a couple of beads inspired by the class with Teresa. These goddess's look very much like hers, since I am still practicing the technique.

I had a fantastic class this weekend with Teresa Laliberte of Lavender Creek glass. It was mainly sculptural beads. I'll try and get some pictures of the class beads tomorrow. I have some exciting ideas for new pieces I am hoping to get done over the next week!

Rain and More Rain!

Well it appears we are back to our regular West Coast weather. Rain! And lots of it. Puddles are fast becoming small lakes.

Exciting Class

Yesterday I signed up for a fantastic silver/glass class with Amy Johnson in Toronto in March. I took a glass class with her last year that was so inspiring and her silver work is so fresh, I am very excited about this class!

Roof Is Fixed!!

Yeah! Our leaky roof is fixed!! Hopefully it will be good now till spring, I am crossing my fingers we get no more wind storms.

I have some perfect pairs of beads for those of you who requested some for earrings. These are made on a tiny mandrel so the bead holes are 1mm which means no wobbling around on your headpins! It Feels Like Winter

Boy does it feel like winter here! There is still lots of snow onthe ground and more forecast for tonight.

I am working on some matched pairs of beads. These will be perfect for making earrings out of for those of you who asked. Hopefully I'll have pictures by towmorrow.

We Have Snow!

We have snow! Not alot maybe 3 inches left, but it's been -7 at night which is cold for us. It's been sunny and crisp, perfect winter weather.

I have two new auctions on ebay both constellation focal beads. I love the "Little Dipper" bead it's my favorite one to date!

I have a new auction up on ebay. A larger set it has tons of design options! Soft caramel, coral and turquoise green remind me of the stones in the desert.

Here we go!!!!!!!!!!! This is my first "special". These beads are special let me tell you! There are 6 lampwork beads made by myself, they are 15mm by 20mm. I think water wings are in order! We had torrential rain all night last night and are starting to develope ponds were small puddles once sat!
